My Binder system
Thanks to sites like Large Family Logistics, I have been able to find sanity once again and peace of
mind in my home!!
Large Family Logistics lists days of the week designated for particular areas of the home: For example, Monday is Laundry day. That means that you do your regular laundry loads every day, but on every Monday, you get it ALL done, put away and folded- Every bit of it!
I love this system!
There is also "Town day", for a specific day to go into town....Kim (the owner of Large Family Logistics) lists different GREAT ideas for taking multiple kids to town, and ideas for coming back and being able to have a relaxed and fun trip. I just love it.
I found a lot of sites using binders lately..... I never have used a binder, or a calendar or ANYTHING before, but I finally decided to make the effort and start one!
I'm SO glad I did! For the last 3 weeks, this house has been GUEST WELCOMING CLEAN! No matter what time of the day it is. I can't believe it! lol
Plus, I have been learning so much about how much to expect my children to do. I have learned and realized that my kids do better, feel better, and have more time for fun, when they have more chores to do.
It gives them a sense of purpose! It makes them feel more loved and like more of a part of the family, when they have more responsibilities to do around the house. It may sound silly, but it's so true. And I've seen the house become more and more calm, relaxed, happy, when we have our routines in place and ALL work together making sure things stay nice and neat, and have a system and a working PLAN for our lives.
So here is the binder that I have worked on and finally finished!

Get Caleb and Bonnie dressed,

Start schooling,

Rule: Make a point to do 15 minutes of phonics instruction with Bonnie. Every single day.
Evening Routine:
Lay out clothes for tomorrow,
Iron anything that needs it,
Get coffeepot ready for next day,
Clean dishes in the sink, it must sparkle!
Make sure Noah’s diaper is changed,
Make sure Bonnie has a pull up on.
Straighten living room.
Then on the next page is some encouraging words from Large Family Logistics which helps me to do that days work.

Clothes laid out, food ready to go in crockpot so that when I come home there is a wonderful meal prepared already and no more work necessary in order to eat and relax! I love this idea, and it really works wonders!!!!!

If you have a photo editing program and want to add the days of the week on the pages, you might be able to find a tutorial online and add the text that way. I am only experienced in Adobe Photoshop, so if you do not have that program, I really can't help that much.
Also, if you would like me to, I can edit the pictures and add your specific days of the week for you. Just send me an email and I will do it as soon as I can!

I had searched everywhere for a coupon organizer and found only weak accordion styles or options that were too large orcomplex for me. I wanted something that could store a lot of coupons, easy to maneuver in the store and keep all my shopping needs in a safe place. Cheryl, I wish I could give you a site where you could find lots of them...unfortunately I had the same problem. There don't seem to be a wealth of these pictures to be easily found on the Internet. Or maybe there are and I just don't know where to look! lol The way I found mine was by typing specific things into google, such as "mother with child painting", or "woman ironing painting", or "old timey kitchen painting", etc.
It took quite a while to find any that I thought were pretty.(My favorite one is that kitchen one too).
I've heard you can find some beautiful images at www.ladiesagainstfeminism.com... actually, the one that I use for the miscellaneous section came from there!
Also, Candy from www.keepingthehome.com uses pictures from allposters.com.

The actual binders are a full size, 2 inch 3 ring binder and are very sturdy. They zipper closed to keep everything secure and have a durable and easy to clean fabric exterior. I love my binder too, which we FlyBabies call a Control Journal. When I follow my written routines, all is well in our house. When I stray from it, everything is out of sorts. I start forgetting to check my calendar and forget birthdays, I get behind on chores, etc.

I adore FlyLady. I also keep a binder called my Holiday Control Journal with everything I need for all holidays, tabbed by holiday, including seasonal recipes, birthday gift ideas, a Christmas card list that I keep so that I have it to help shape the next year's list, and more.

I still think of my self as an artist of sorts. A good web design site should look nice, it should be artistic. But not as dramatic or profound as a painting. Don't totaly dismiss the artistic side.

Just look how you changed only by using a binder. Who would have thought that this wold have such an impact on you. Speaking of binders, I do have a lot of paper work to do, all my legal papers are spread in the entire house and I need to put them together organized under one single binder. I hope that won't take me more than half a day.

Well every year gets harder and more mess. I ussially get one big binder instead of 6 little ones. In my binder it must have the built in pencil case and stuff like that.

I have observed that in old digital cameras, unique detectors help to maintain focus automatically. The particular sensors with some cameras change in in the area of contrast, while others start using a beam with infra-red (IR) light, particularly in low lumination. Higher specs cameras at times use a combination of both systems and may have Face Priority AF where the camera can ‘See’ a face as you concentrate only upon that. I recommend purchasing the standard cardboard binders which are wrapped in plastic, as these are the cheapest binders, meaning when they mess up they are easily replaced.

What I usually did was just put 2-3 subjects per binder (for example I had English, math and German in the morning, so I put those subjects together in the same binder).

Depends on the subject matter, if you read Harry Potter series...you may become knowledgeable about a few things here and there, but nothing applicable. If you spend time reading history or science books you'll become wiser no doubt.

Although you don't get a warranty, I see VERY nice used units pop up on Craigslist, (and Ebay) frequently. With the economy slowly taking a nose-dive there are plenty of people who want to unload good used fishing equipment for a reasonable price.

I have just purchase a hds5 with insight so I will now have to sit down and try to understand the owners manueljst to use this tool but it looks like it will take a lot of time on the water playing with the unit to finally understand everything that the unit is capable of.
